Private Eating Disorder Peer Mentoring *

Navigating recovery from an eating disorder can feel overwhelming, isolating, and challenging at times—but you don’t have to go through it alone. Private peer mentoring offers you a safe, compassionate space to feel seen, heard, and supported by someone who understands.

What is Peer Mentoring?

Peer mentoring is a unique form of support where lived experience meets compassion and guidance. As a trained peer mentor with personal experience in eating disorder recovery, I offer a non-judgmental space to listen, share insights, and walk alongside you on your journey. My role is not to replace professional care but to complement it, offering encouragement and relatable insights based on real-world experiences.

What You Can Expect

  • A Safe Space to Talk: Whether you’re struggling with body image, eating behaviors, or the day-to-day challenges of recovery, we’ll explore your feelings and experiences in a compassionate and confidential environment.

  • Understanding Without Judgment: I’ve been there too. Recovery is not linear, and together, we can celebrate your progress while holding space for setbacks.

  • Practical Tools and Support: We can discuss coping strategies, creating a recovery-focused routine, and finding small wins that help rebuild trust in yourself.

  • Guidance Alongside Professional Support: Peer mentoring works best as a supplement to therapy, medical care, or nutrition counseling.

Who is Peer Mentoring For?

This service is for anyone who:

  • Is currently in recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating.

  • Feels isolated in their recovery and wants empathetic, lived-experience support.

  • Wants encouragement to build body trust and navigate challenging feelings.

  • Needs help identifying next steps in their recovery or daily life.
